History

Since its first edition in 1997, ICAMDATA has established itself as a major international forum dedicated to atomic and molecular data and their applications in physics, astrophysics, plasma science, fusion research, atmospheric studies, and related fields. Organized regularly in different countries around the world, the conference brings together leading scientists, early-career researchers, and data users to discuss recent advances, foster collaborations, and promote the development and dissemination of high-quality atomic and molecular data. The 14th edition of ICAMDATA will take place in Mons in 2026, continuing this long-standing tradition of scientific exchange and international cooperation.
